P1 – P3 Students were treated to an engaging story time session led by our NET Ms. Pooja. The aim of the narration of stories was to inculcate the habit of reading in students and make it fun.
The stories were thoughtfully selected to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that auditory, visual, and kinaesthetic learners were all engaged. The students were not just participants, but enthusiastic contributors, singing melodious songs and showcasing their dancing skills with great zeal.
While P1 and P2 engaged with the captivating story, they were not just passive listeners, but very active participants. They listened attentively and demonstrated their sharp cognitive skills by accurately counting the number of dinosaurs and identifying the correct dinosaur in each picture. Most of the students were enthusiastic and involved in engaging activities. Their keen focus was truly impressive, and it facilitated their learning experience.

P3 students actively listened to the story and identified the different types of sounds in the narrative. They are all ears to the story and its special sound effects. |
The story time was engaging and catered to the students’ diverse learning styles. |
The story time could not have been completed without the valuable contribution of P6 students. Ten enthusiastic P.6 students gathered in the hall to lend a helping hand to the P.1-3 students and act as ‘prize angels’. Their presence added a sense of warmth and support to the event.
Furthermore, we had the privilege of inviting four talented P.6 students to perform a heartwarming rendition of the song 'Believe in Yourself' for the P.1-3 students. The purpose of this musical performance was to inspire and motivate the younger students to stay positive and have faith in their abilities. The uplifting lyrics and soulful melody served as a reminder for everyone present to embrace self-belief and strive for their dreams.
